Reflecting on 9/11

This reflective storytelling interface encourages visitors of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum to share their remembrance of the September 11 World Trade Center attacks. The new interactive fulfills the goal of being both multi-language and eye-free accessible, encouraging inclusive interaction.

A series of steps guides the visitor through the process of recording their experience of the September 11 World Trade Center attacks.

The welcome screen gives options for multiple languages and provides the opportunity to toggle screen reader functions.

The interactive supports eight languages for all text and input through multi-language keyboards.

A decision tree guides visitors through a series of prompts to which they can respond.

Instructions are presented.

Visitors are given two minutes to record their video response.

A series of input screens allow visitors to tag their recording with name, location, and e-mail.
